Balsa Koprivica

Professional center that was drafted by the Detroit Pistons as the 57th overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft. He won a gold medal at the 2017 FIBA Europe U-18 Championship as a member of the Serbian U-18 national basketball team.
He attended Florida State University for two seasons. During his sophomore year, he averaged 9.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game.
He ranks second in school history with a .632 career field goal percentage.
He is the son of Tatjana Cavic and Slavisa Koprivica. He and his mother moved to the United States from Belgrade, Serbia in 2012.
He played alongside Scottie Barnes at Florida State.
