Professional catcher that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the second round of the 2011 MLB season. He won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games as a member of the United States national team.
While in the minors, he was named a Carolina League All-Star in 2014.
He made his major league debut playing against the Seattle Mariners on August 6, 2017.
He is a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
He played alongside Carlos Santana during the 2021 MLB season.
