Concertmaster of the Sándor Végh String Orchestra and of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra in the 1960s.
He started playing violin when he was five and was a runner-up for the Grand Prize Merriweather Post Competition when he was seventeen.
He became privy to unpublished works written by Niccolò Paganini because of his studies under Maxim Jacobsen.
He married a Portuguese woman and lived with her in Cascals.
He performed a Violin Concerto by Johannes Brahms with the National Symphony Orchestra.
