American theatrical performer who appeared in the Broadway productions of Wicked, Next to Normal, and Xanadu.
He began taking dance classes when he was six years old. He later received a degree in musical theater from Missouri State University.
He appeared in such television shows as Cupid, Up All Night, Hart of Dixie, and The Good Wife.
He grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas and was open about his homosexual orientation. He married Taylor Frey in 2016.
He and Aaron Tveit both played the role of Gabe in Next to Normal on Broadway.
