Country-pop singer who gained major buzz with the release of her 2013 album Cut to Impress. The album spawned two singles which landed on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and made her one of the most-played female artists on country radio.
She performed with a Bruce Springsteen cover band while attending Clemson University. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee at age 19.
In 2013, she won an Emmy for performing, writing and producing "Get Ya Game On," which was used for Comcast SportsNet's NFL coverage.
She has a younger sister named Theresa and an older sister named Claire.
She toured with Sheryl Crow in the fall of 2013.
