Before Fame

He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in industrial design from Brigham Young University. He worked for Ford Motor Company, designing future cars for about seven years.

He created his Art for Kids Hub channel in February of 2012. The first video posted was called "How To Draw A Monster." The channel has more than 5 million subscribers.

He and his wife Teryn have kids named Jack, Hadley, Austin and Olivia.
