His debut album Hate Is Fuel was released in February 2012.
He expanded his talents to acting, appearing in the web series Will He Cheat and Netflix and Chill Role Reversal.
He has a daughter with his wife Briana Hampton.
His song "Don't Respect" features Snoop Dogg.
