Originally the Brooklyn Dodgers, the franchise moved West in 1958. The franchise won its first World Series title while still in Brooklyn in 1955, then won its second title in Los Angeles in 1959. In 2020, the franchise captured its seventh World Series title and first in over 30 years.
Trivia
On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson took the field for the Brooklyn Dodgers as the first African-American to play for a Major League Baseball team.
