Vince Russo

Writer who is best known for his work with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He worked with the companies as a chief writer, and contributed various storylines to each brand throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 1983 with a journalism degree. He began his career in pro wrestling when he began training as a wrestler with Johnny Rodz in New York City.
In 2002, he began his tenure with Total Non-stop Action Wrestling (TNA). He began as a writer, then between 2002 and 2004, played an on-screen character for the brand. He then served as a head creative writer between 2006 and 2012 for TNA. He runs a podcast on The RELM Network called Vince Russo's Brand.
He was born and raised in Farmingville, New York.
In 2000, he was involved in a dispute with Hulk Hogan over his character's WCW storyline.
